It's done and dusted!
As of last Tuesday, all books and physical rewards have been shipped. You should have received at least one (possibly two) email notifications with your tracking information, and many of you have already received your books. The rest should be delivered within the next week.

Everyone who ordered a special edition will be invited to a group Ask Me Anything call.
I'm planning to host two hour-long calls on Zoom for different time zones. Most likely, I'll schedule them for a Saturday and a Sunday in mid to late September so that everyone has a chance to read their books before we meet. I'll post more details here when I have them, and you'll receive the log in details through BackerKit.
I will also contact the VIP tiers to set up your one-on-one chats soon!
Some of you have already asked about this, but the plan is to create special editions for the entire Sanyare Chronicles series.
I've already started working on the special edition for The Heir Apparent (The Sanyare Chronicles, Book 2). Once I have a Kickstarter prelaunch link available, I'll post an update here!

I went to Comic Con last week, and came home to this:
For some reason, I expected them to be delivered on a pallet, but the FedEx delivery person just stacked them on my porch and left. They didn't even ring the doorbell! Even the dog didn't bark. (He must have been distracted elsewhere in the house, because normally it's a full on racket if anyone approaches the door.)
Luckily, my daughter noticed the boxes out the window. My poor husband had to haul them all inside. It was like 450 lbs of books, in fourteen boxes!
That said, now we're getting into the shipping zone!
All bookmark and paperback-only shipments left the warehouse (aka My Garage) last week.
Special edition orders are trickling out the door already, starting with the largest, most complicated orders. My kids are helping by making boxes, shredding misprinted books for packing material, and putting labels on packages.
We're getting it done!
I fully expect to have all Kickstarter shipments out the door by mid-August!
I'm back from vacation and back to work, and thrilled to say that the first set of Special Editions and all the paperbacks have arrived!
In the next few days, you should receive a notice from Backerkit to make any final changes to your order. You'll have 48 hours to update or add on items. After that, your order will be locked, your credit card charged, and I'll be able to start prepping your books for shipment!
I can't wait to get these books in your hands!!

I had to make a bit of a design change for the bookmarks because of sizing requirements for the foil print, but I love how they turned out. The card stock is hefty and soft to the touch. It feels super luxe. And my book-fanatic daughter nearly took my arm off in her excitement to grab one. They're so pretty! :-)
I hope you love them as much as we do!
But I realize this might seem like a sudden switch, so if you don't like the new bookmarks, you still have time to request a refund. They're included free with all special edition orders, but if it was an add-on or solo reward, I can honor refunds until we lock the orders before shipment, sometime in July or August. To request a refund, log into your Backerkit account to adjust your pledge or email me at [email protected].
Of course, if one isn't enough (or you were a digital-only backer) there's still time to add an extra bookmark to your order! Just log into your Backerkit account to make any additions or changes.
As a reminder, the special editions are in the print queue and should process soon. I'll have updates on that as they come in!

I'm taking the month of June more or less off from work so I can go on summer adventures with my kids. However, if you have questions or need support for anything, I will be answering emails.
